Hi, Just a very quick blog today. I have just received news that I have passed the City & Guilds level 3 embroidery course. I am so pleased. A few photos of the main assessments.
Many congratulations, Carol! You deserve the good result after all your hard work.=)
I wonder if I'll ever get back to it. There's a chance we may move 'home' where I can go to the teachers I like for C&G 3, so you never know. I was thinking just how design brings out the differences in us in that my pieces would be so very different and yet it's all embroidery. What an amazing design *we* are!
Thank you very much for your kind comments. I am really pleased I finished the course. It is very difficult staying motivated when the course is a long distance course. If you get the chance have a go. The standard of your embroidery is very high, possibly you should think of doing the diploma.

Now I should thank *you* for the kind comments!=) I'm not sure I really want to do a C&G (although I wouldn't mind a fw level 1s and 2s), as I enjoy stitchery as a hobby, but I find it gets 'spoiled' if there's study or work pressure involved. After *very* much reflection, I've come to the conclusion that I really am a language teacher by profession and not an artisan.=)
Diploma next for you?? Keep me informed and I'll be keenly following along, cheering from the sidelines. Go Carol! Go Carol! Go GO Carol!=)
